French Haircut

by in Europe, France

I needed a haircut, and today I got it. We walked inside and a woman gave me a bib that went all the way around. I asked for an English speaking hairdresser and soon one was there. I sat down and together we decided that I would have a frame in the front and the cut would be down to my shoulders. The English hairdresser left and in French told another hairdresser what I wanted. She came over and brought me to a little hall in the back. I sat on a black leather recliner that had a sink on top. I leaned back and she washed my hair with cantaloupe smelling shampoo. After that was done she wrapped my hair in a towel. I went back to the front of the store and sat down. Then the hairdresser began. She combed, and blow-dried. She used razors and jagged scissors. Soon my hair was a mess. Then she brought out a special brush and brushed my hair while blow-drying it again. When she was done with that she got out a little bottle and squirted it on my hair. It smelled like tropical fruit. I ran my finger through my hair, it was weird to have my hand stop feeling hair so soon, but I loved the cut.  My hair was extra soft and extra nice. What a great hour.
